The VitalPAC Electronic Discharge Summary (EDS) dramatically improves the quality of discharge summaries.

The system combines routinely captured VitalPAC data with information taken directly from other hospital systems, such as pharmacy, theatres and labs.

The summary is automatically pre-populated, improving the accuracy of information. It can then be sent directly and securely to the patient's GP on discharge.

If a patient is readmitted, VitalPAC provides an immediate summary of previous treatments, improving safety and patient care.
